75th anniversary of the first service of Australian Peacekeepers shortly after World War 2. Australia first served in United Nations peacekeeping roles in 1947 in the Netherlands East Indies (Indonesia) and continue to support the United Nations in their peacekeeping activities to this day.
More than 80,000 Australians have served as peacekeepers.
