Coloured dragon coin.
The stamp and coin cover incorporates an Australian $1 coin depicting a Chinese dragon and lanterns in vivid colour. Also included in the coin design are the Chinese characters for ‘Happy New Year’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
Australia Post stamps
The official $1.20 and $3.60 Australia Post stamps feature a Chinese dragon etched in gold on a red background. A commemorative postmark in the form of a dragon’s head includes the words ‘First day of issue 29 January 2024 Christmas Island WA 6798’.
Memorial Obverse
This coin portrays the official Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Obverse, featuring the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy supplemented with the dates of Her Majesty’s reign – ‘1952 – 2022’.
Illustrated envelope
The illustrated envelope features a red and gold dragon and the words ‘HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR 2024’ on an oriental pattern. Also included on the envelope is Australia Post’s Seal of Authenticity.
